I am unsuccessfully trying to send a photo from my ipad/iphone to an email as an ATTACHMENT. I have googled and followed instructions however the photo is always imbedded on the email and I cannot save it from there to my desktop to edit. The photo will be reproduced so I don't want to compress the photo or it may pixalate. Does any know the answer please?

Assuming you're sending the pic from iPhone to Mac/PC
Open the pic in Photos, click the box with up arrow at the bottom of the screen, click email, enter address and send. You'll be given an option to select the size - pick full size. The pic is sent as an attachment even though it looks like it's embedded in the mail.
Open the mail on the Mac/PC, right click on the image and you can either open it or save it. Then you can edit it.
