To change the default PDF viewer on your MacBook Pro, follow these steps:

  1. Find any PDF file in Finder
  2. Right-click (or Control+click) on the PDF file
  3. Select "Get Info" from the dropdown menu
  4. In the Info window, look for the "Open with:" section
  5. Click the dropdown menu and select your preferred PDF application (like Adobe Acrobat Reader, PDF Expert, etc.)
  6. Click the "Change All..." button below this section
  7. Confirm by clicking "Continue" in the popup dialog

This will change the default PDF viewer for all PDF files on your Mac. If you don't see your preferred application in the dropdown menu, you may need to click "Other..." and navigate to the Applications folder to find it.

If you ever want to change it back to Preview (the default macOS PDF viewer), you can follow the same steps and select Preview instead.
