Space bar does not work on my iPad Pro keyboard

When I try to type a message using the external key board on Signal, WhatsApp, a blue box appears around the screen and my space bar does not work. I have made sure the switch is off

No space between words I have an iPad Pro (3rd Generation 12.9 inch)with Magic Keyboard. This is happening in Calendar and Messages. When I type (on Magic Keyboard) no space is shown between words even though I used the space bar. Please let me know how to fix this. Thanks.

Make sure Full Keyboard Access is turned OFF in your Accessibility settings
