Joycon input lag on MacOS Sequoia

After updating to Sequoia 15.3.1 from Big Sur 11.7.10, I am experiencing ~0.25 seconds of input lag when using Nintendo joycons connected via bluetooth. I was not experiencing this input lag on the older OS, and it makes this controller unusable.

My PS4 controller does not have any lag, and it's not Steam causing the problem since the lag appears on this gamepad tester as well: https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad.

I've tried rebooting, rebooting into safe mode, logging on as a different user, and reinstalling the OS, nothing works. Does anyone know any way to fix this?
