MacBook Pro Control Strip disappeared

As of tonight, my 2021 MacBook Pro has updated to macOS Sequoia 15.3.1, and the control strip has gone black as of restarting. Not only has it disappeared, but the options to customise/change/reset it in system preferences have also disappeared from the options. Is there a way to fix this? I hope it's not part of the update and therefore irreversible.

On an M-series Mac—
