Wife and I just got the new iPhone 16 Pro. Messenger won’t open reels. When we click on a shared reel, it opens the home page of the Facebook app but doesn’t open the reel. I’ve tried toggling the “open in external browser” setting but it does not work.

I just got the 16 plus and having same issue , I get sent a reel or link and it just goes to fb , not to the reel or link
How do we contact Facebook? I used the “report a problem” feature and haven’t not heard anything.
I'm not surprised.
Remember, you are not Facebook's customer. You are the product they sell to their actual customers. i.e. paying advertisers.
