Unable to enable Touch ID on my MacBook Pro with "Authentication is disabled" error.

When i try to configure TouchID: add a fingerprint or enable touchid

The computer ask me for my password

when i try to validate my password, I have a message "Authentication is disabled"

and... that's all

It already worked but like 1 month ago touch ID stop working

I have tried to upgrade to sequoia yesterday hoping that it would resolve the issue

but no change.

Any advice would be appraciated.
