How can I pause my Activity rings without losing streak on Apple Watch?

I paused my activity rings for one day and I continued closing my rings for a while, 37 days, notice that my streak is now only 37 days. I had more than 300 days when I paused.

I also tried pausing my rings, and somehow it unpaused and ruined my streak.

I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Apple trying to figure out how to restore my streak just to find out there is not a way.

I paid $800+ for this Apple Watch Ultra, and it is missing functionality that free apps like Duolingo have to restore a streak.

I’m done. Next smart watch I get will be a Garmin ✌️

Did you resume your activities, as described in these related articles?

Did you already try to force restart your iPhone and Apple Watch?

To force restart your watch, press and hold the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.

After that you should see the actual status of your move streak.
