Shared notes on apple notebook

I had a shared notes with my husband, suddenly the whole content on the notebook disappeared. We cannot find any of our old contents.

Both of us are not able to see it. How is it possible that the whole note is gone

  1. Shared Notes require iCloud: When you create a shared Note on an Apple device, it’s stored in iCloud. That’s because the sharing feature relies on iCloud’s syncing capabilities — it keeps the Note updated across devices for all participants in real time. You can’t share Notes that are only stored locally on the device or associated with third-party services like Gmail or Outlook. See the pic below
  2. iCloud is tied to an Apple ID: iCloud services — including iCloud Notes — are linked directly to your Apple ID. Your Apple ID is what keeps your iCloud data (Notes, Photos, Contacts, etc.) in sync across devices signed into that same account.
  3. Changing your Apple ID means losing access to previous iCloud data: If you sign out of iCloud on your device and sign in with a different Apple ID, you lose access to the iCloud data associated with the original Apple ID — including your iCloud Notes. The Notes aren’t deleted; they’re just tied to the iCloud account they were created under. To access them again, you’d have to sign back in with the original Apple ID.
  4. Shared Notes and Apple ID changes: If you were part of a shared Note and change your Apple ID, you’d also lose access to that shared Note, because the access is tied to the Apple ID you were using when you were invited. If someone wants to share that Note with your new Apple ID, they’d have to re-invite you.
