How do I delete applications that have been downloaded from the internet?

I have downloaded an app from the internet (Safari), and not from the app store, I do not need to use the app that was downloaded from the internet anymore, I realised I can delete apps that were downloaded from the App Store but not from the internet, I'm trying to delete the apps from launchpad, is there any way, tip or trick to delete the app downloaded from the internet? Thank you

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.3

It depends on how the app was installed. If you just dragged an app from its disk image that you downloaded into the applications folder then you can essentially remove it the same way you can remove an App Store app, drag it to the trash. On the other hand if you used an installer, especially one that asked for your password then you only need to use the apps UnInstaller provided by the developer of the app.
