Apple CarPlay no longer works with My BMW X3 (2019) using iOS 18.3.1 - SOLUTION!

I recently upgraded my iphone form 11 to 16. I tried everything, per instructions, but I could not access Apple CarPlay to my BMW X3. I did not have that problem with my iPhone 11. I eventually called BMW service, who also tried everything they knew, and was told finally that my phone 16 was probably too much for my car?! I took it to the dealership today and the Genius there was able to fix it in less than 10 minutes. The problem was that I had too many WiFi networks that were causing interference (see pic below). I had no idea that so many “know networks” were resident on my phone, sucking up space, and causing problems. Evidently, whenever I accessed any WiFi network, anywhere I went (vacation homes, etc.), they remained on my phone. After I deleted about 5 of the unwanted known networks, the Genius had me reboot my car’s I drive, restart my iPhone 16, re-pair my phone with the car, and it worked! I hope this helps everyone that is encountering this problem.
