Can't sync WhatsApp in my MacBook

Even after updating the app both in my iPhone and in my Mac, restarting both devices, and checking if my internet connection is good (it is excellent), I still cannot sync the WhatsApp app in my Mac. I also tried connecting via the WhatsApp website and the same problem occurs, even after deleting the Safari history and a lot of media in the phone's app. This is the first time this happens, all was working fine a few hours ago, then suddenly everything went haywire. Any suggestions? Thanks!
