Can the partly broken tip of Apple Pencil be fixed?

The tip broke off but part is left inside the pencil, can it be fixed?

YES!!! The small portion that remains inside the pencil can be removed…

The small screwed in collar can be stabilized, using a small screw driver(think glasses repair kit screw driver) to hold the collar in place while turning the pencil clockwise. In a few turns the collar will be loose. You can then put on your new tip.
