Why does my Apple Watch not charging fully?

My iwatch wasn’t fully charging either it stopped at about 80%. Depending on the age of your iwatch it tends to shut off charging at a certain point to save battery life. The fix is turn off the watch, turn back on it will tell you it was in protection mode, override it by hitting the lighting symbol and that should reset it to charge to 100% for most people.

This is bad advice. Charging your iPhone battery to 100% all the time isn't good for the battery. The health of the battery will drop quickly over time as you continue to constantly charge it to 100%. To maintain a healthy iPhone battery, the charge should be kept between 30% and 80%.
