Calendar shortcuts not working on iphone 13pro

I set up three Shortcuts to add Calendar events on my iPad. They synced to my iPhone 13Pro. They will run on my iPad, but I cannot get them to run on my iPhone 13 Pro. When I run them on my iPad I get the input box to add it to my calendar but when I tried to run the same shortcuts on my iPhone, the three dots in the top right corner just turned into a square and nothing happens. I am running the latest iOS 18.3.1. From one video I saw I offloaded the Shortcuts app and then reinstalled it but the shortcuts still won’t work on my iPhone.

Thanks. I'm not having any issue running the same shortcut on my iPhone (iOS 18.3.1).

When running the shortcut, the Compose Sheet immediately appears and when I validate the event (or dismiss it) the shortcut runs to completion (i.e. I'm not seeing the square icon you show in your 2nd screenshot).

The square icon indicates that the shortcut is stuck, probably on the Add Event action.

I tested the shortcut using my own default calendar (named "Calendar"). This is my iCloud calendar. I see in your shortcut that are using a calendar named "White Shoes". Do you have the same issue pointing to another calendar?

Thanks for your help on this 6x6. Late last night I got the shortcuts to work. I simply power cycled my phone. Should have thought of that earlier.

Could you post a screenshot of one of the shortcuts that doesn't work? I'll do some testing on my end with an iPhone and iPad.

I tried pointing the Add Event to the default calendar, also named “Calendar”for me. Same lack of response. Could my iPhone model be too old to run this shortcut? My iPad is only about a year old and I could only think that the difference in age could be why they work on the iPad instead of the iPhone.

I created three of these shortcuts for different running shoes to track that I rotate them properly. I can do it from my iPad but would be easier to remember with the phone.

The first screenshot is the setup of the shortcut. The second is what I see when trying to add it to my calendar from my iPhone. The third picture is what I get when adding via my iPad.
