iPhone 16 Pro as a Point-And-Shoot Camera

For someone using their iPhone 16 Pro as a point-and-shoot camera, what would be the best default settings to use? He would be doing minimal editing and just wants the convenience of an old point-and-shoot without having to recreate the wheel for every photo. We’d like to create a new Photographic Style that would part of a Preserved Setting.

iPhone 17 Pro camera issue with manual settings in third-party apps I bought the 17pro with high hopes of a true pocket camera, and it is almost there, BUT when I try to shoot 48mp in jpeg, heic og raw, the phone overrides my manual settings in third party apps with «full» control, and when I lower the resolution, I some times get to shoot with manual exposure and iso. As a photographer with the need of a pocketable everyday camera, this is insanely frustrating. I have tried so many tutorials, settings and combinations, but looking at the exif is like hoping to win the lottery. Am I missing something or was the move from Android to iOS just hopes and dreams? Quality of Life Features for Photos App A huge time saver would be if we could save photo “Adjust” settings profiles that could be applied instantly in one tap instead of having to slide through each individual “Adjust” setting for every new photo. Even more amazing would be if we could sync these saved “Adjust” profiles to the camera app, and be able to have them applied to new photos real-time (could have restrictions on which settings can be applied live like exposure, as necessary). Also a potential great time saver would be if “Auto” adjust could simultaneously pull up a mini straightening wheel and crop markers, and have it be the default to open up to rather than “Focus”. Or alternatively, have this special “Auto & Crop” option appear as the magic wand icon right next to Edit, an alternative to doing the full photo edit. It would be so convenient to be able to rapidly use the auto adjust, straightening and cropping with a single tap - a one-stop-shop for quick photo edits.
