How to prevent duplicate photo copies when transferring from iPhone to external drive using Image Capture on Mac?

Wondershare Dr. Phone is a third party utility that has the ability to actually navigate the individual files like a Finder view by name and date.

This will help you avoid duplication, by looking at the naming of the files in the Finder versus the naming of the files on the phone.

if that is your criteria, you are limiting yourself...

many quality applications avoid the App store for the restrictions and rules, that hobble functionality.

If I had a choice to down load from a developers website compared to the app on the App Store — I always choose the developers website.
