If the location of a person on Find My is constantly moving around, it typically indicates that their device has a poor or unstable internet connection. Find My relies on GPS, Wi-Fi, and cellular data to determine and share a device's location. When the connection is weak or inconsistent, the device may struggle to communicate its exact position, leading to erratic or fluctuating location updates.

Several factors can contribute to this issue, including:

  1. Weak Cellular Signal – If the device is in an area with limited cellular coverage, such as indoors, underground, or in a remote location, it may not be able to send accurate location data consistently.
  2. Unstable Wi-Fi Connection – If the device is connected to a weak or slow Wi-Fi network, the location updates may be delayed or inaccurate. This can happen in places with poor Wi-Fi signal strength or interference from other devices.
  3. GPS Interference – GPS signals can be obstructed by tall buildings, tunnels, or heavy tree cover, causing the location to appear inconsistent or jump around on the map.
  4. Low Battery Mode or Background App Restrictions – If the device is in Low Power Mode or if location services are restricted in the background, Find My may not refresh location data as frequently, leading to erratic movement on the map.
  5. VPN or Location Spoofing Apps – If the person is using a VPN or location-altering software, it could cause Find My to display shifting locations.

To resolve the issue, the person should ensure they have a strong internet connection, disable Low Power Mode if active, and check that Find My has permission to access location services at all times. Restarting the device and toggling Airplane Mode on and off may also help stabilize the connection.

To use Find My and Location Services on an iPhone effectively, both your iPhone and the device you're trying to locate must have an active internet connection. These services rely on internet access to share your location with friends and family and to track the locations of devices, people, and items. Without internet connectivity on either end, the sharing and locating features of Find My and Location Services will not function properly.

Keep the iPhone updated to the latest iOS always and never Jailbreak. That's it.

iOS / iPadOS devices cannot be hacked or infected with Virus / Malware / Spyware *** unless you have intentionally downloaded spurious software or unauthorized apps directly from the internet and installed them on your device or/and have Jailbroken

It (Hacking) also depends on how careful you are in sharing sensitive and valuable information pertaining to your iPhone such as Passcode, Password, etc with your friends and family members.

Be judicious when sharing the device's sensitive and valuable information with friends and family members.

**The primary reason for this is Sandboxing. All third-party apps are “sandboxed”, so they are restricted from accessing files stored by other apps or from making changes to the device. Sandboxing is designed to prevent apps from gathering or modifying information stored by other apps.

Security of runtime process in iOS and iPadOS - Apple Support

The sandbox on an iPhone is a security feature that creates a restricted environment for each app to run in isolation from other apps and the operating system. It is a core component of iOS's security architecture and plays a crucial role in making iPhones more secure.

If you doubt the authenticity of the information provided earlier, you have two alternatives:

  1. Report the hacking incident to local law enforcement authorities and actively pursue the case.
  2. Accept the credibility of the information; it is impervious to hacking. Just as some individuals hold unconventional beliefs, such as a flat Earth or moon landing denial, one has the freedom to believe in anything. The choice ultimately rests with you in this open and free world.

How about the glitching the phone blinks rapidly many times and I’ve had many I phones in my life however this never has happened until this year and also with my Samsung Zfold5 also I thinks someone is using my eSIM or data because iCloud is full and it’s not my stuff I deleted it many times but it’s like the phones are possessed and I noticed that my signal bars drop to only 1 or 2 bars when this happens and my phone never recognizes my home as a familiar location…. It’s driving me nuts changed passwords so many times it’s really hours with support new apple IDs and works great for a little then about a week tops back to acting up and support says factory reset in witch I’ve done 2 or 3 times also :-(
