I have a 2022 Macbook Air auto shutdown and restart

At least once a day it automatically shuts down and restarts. Is any one else having this problem? It has the OS Sequoia 15.3.1.

After patching to Sonoma 14.4.1, my Macbook Air M2 will not shut down I have a MacBook Air M2 purchased in December 2023, and I recently updated to macOS Sonoma 14.4.1. I am seeing that people are having a number of problems, but so far I have not found anyone with my specific issue yet. What I am experiencing specifically is this: I use the normal  | Shut Down ... function, get the normal shut down dialog box, and I press the blue Shut Down button. My Macbook Air goes through the normal shut down process, but after that completes, it automatically reboots and starts back up. It is as if I selected Restart instead of Shut Down, though after several attempts, I am certain that is not the case. One additional note: the MagSafe power cable is plugged in to the MacBook when the Shut Down behavior is working incorrectly. When I unplug the cable, Shut Down works normally. This was NOT the behavior I experienced prior to 14.4.1. (plugged in or not, the laptop always used to shut down properly and stay that way until I powered it on or raised the lid. I know that I can sort of solve the problem by shutting the laptop lid which will effectively prevent the laptop from restarting, but this isn't something I should be experiencing in the first place. Any advice on how to resolve this newly inherited issue?
