How do I contact Telegram support about unauthorized account creation?

My friend sent me an image via text and it shows that at 2am this morning I joined “telegram”. First off, I don’t even know what that is snd secondly, why would I want or need this, and last, how in the **** was I put on this app. The only thing I did yesterday was buy more iCloud storage from apple. Although they have allowed me to be put on the dark web 3 times.

It is the phone number that is required for verification where you would get the SMS message to confirm you have the device. The name that they use is just a username, and you can create a username such as "Joe Smith", even if that is not your name. There is no name verification. More information about usernames is available here with the allowed characters being a-z, 0-9, and the underscore.

They also have a note that you can make a report if a scammer is pretending to be you:

If a scammer is pretending to be you, please contact @NoToScam.

What information did you receive in your text message from your friend that said you had joined Telegram?

It is not information that only Apple has access too. Your friend has your number and your name and it is not Apple that gave it to them. It takes very little information to create a Telegram account and you can use whatever name you wish when creating one. Your Apple Account is not needed to create a Telegram account, all they want is your phone number and that is available everywhere and it is not Apple that shares your phone number.

Great observation. I’m impressed and it also explains why no one can tell me how my info got on a website that could not be accessed except through apple.

Telegram is an app/service that is entirely independent of Apple. It can certainly be accessed other ways than through Apple. Telegram offers an Android app and desktop apps. Any account created with Telegram is entirely outside of Apple or their control.

Follow the steps provided by Telegram here:

If you need further assistance, contact Telegram. If you do not have a problem receiving SMS Text messages, other than Telegram, then your device is working fine and the problem will need to be resolved by Telegram.

Unfortunately you posted on an Apple Support site about an issue with Telegram that only they can provide an answer for. If you have an issue with your Apple device or an Apple service, we can help resolve those problems, but an issue with a third party app or service will have to be resolved by them.

The issue you have has nothing to do with buying more iCloud Storage. All we can do is direct you to the relevant information for that service and any communication with them will have to be done by you.

Well after being informed that I joined a website/app that I know I did not, I looked into said “Telegram”. I had to use my APPLE IPhone to search the APPLE App Store to find this app. Which then required me to enter my APPLE password followed by my finger print for APPLE to confirm my purchase of said app. So forgive me if when not receiving any answers from “Telegram”, I went to the only source that could have possibly allowed access to the app. What was I thinking?

The App Store is just a conduit. If you had an issue downloading the app from the App Store, you would have gone to Apple for help. If you need support in using the app, you need to get it from the app developer.

It has been my observation that when people start a sentence with "not to be rude," they almost always intend to be just that.

You sent me a link that was malware! AVG blocked me getting into it because it was a dangerous website. Then after I told you about it, apple took down my response. Nice!

I did not, it is a valid link provided by Telegram. If AVG blocked the site, then that is just another reason why AntiVirus software is a complete waste of money. Nothing unusual with that not working correctly. Feel free to navigate to the Telegram home page yourself and go to the FAQ's. It is not that difficult and you will find the same information.

Go to the Telegram home page, choose FAQ on the top of the screen. Then go down to "What are usernames? How do I get one?". That is the exact same page I linked too. You can even see the page along with that exact URL link seen on the top of the page here:
