How to stop notifications from allowed people while on Do Not Disturb

Allow Calls from Favorites:

• • Add desired contacts to your Favorites list in the Phone app.
  • Navigate to Settings > Focus > Do Not Disturb > People.
  • Ensure Allow Notifications From is selected.
  • Tap Calls From and choose Favorites.

This setup permits calls from favorite contacts during DND but silences their text messages.

Use Emergency Bypass for Specific Contacts:

• Open the Contacts app and select a contact.
• Tap Edit > Ringtone.
• Enable Emergency Bypass to allow calls from this contact during DND.
  • Optionally, tap Text Tone and ensure Emergency Bypass is disabled to silence their text messages.

This method allows calls from selected contacts to bypass DND while keeping their text notifications muted.
