Getting texts on spouses phone

My husband and I share the same apple account (and have for years). I just set up a new Apple Watch to my phone last night and all of as sudden, my husband started receiving text messages sent to my number on his cell phone. The “messages” portion of “settings” is gone with the most recent update and I don’t know how to fix.

Apple Watch - SMS Messages - Two Phones I have both a personal phone and a business phone, with my Apple Watch connected to the personal phone. I've configured text forwarding from my business phone to my personal phone. While messages forwarded from the business phone appear on the personal phone, they do not show up on my Apple Watch. It's worth noting that there are no issues with syncing text messages when I receive them directly on my personal phone. Is it normal for the apple watch or something that should be fixed? I wanted to note that I bought the watch 3 days ago and set it up as a new watch.
