iPhone Mirroring App on macOS Sequoia Stuck in a Loop Before Mirroring
I'm trying to get the iPhone Mirroring app on macOS Sequoia to get past the point where it establishes the connection with my iPhone, but it seems to be stuck trying to send the instructions to my iPhone for the mirroring to actually start. When I start up the app, it briefly shows the connecting screen, then tells me to lock my iPhone. After doing so, it tells me to unlock my iPhone and follow the instructions provided on it. It's at this point where the process seems to get stuck in a loop, because rather than give me any instructions like it used to, I see no instructions displayed on my iPhone and the iPhone Mirroring app on my Mac shows the screen instructing me to lock my iPhone again. From here, it keeps going back and forth like this in a circle and never actually begins the mirroring.
I'm using an iPhone SE 3rd Generation with a 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro, and I have ensured that bluetooth is turned on for both devices and they are both connected to the same network. They are also each running iOS 18.3.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.3.1. I have also tried to test it with AirDrop enabled on both devices and/or plugging my phone using the charging cable it came with to the Mac, and it doesn't seem to make a difference. I even tried to go into the iPhone Mirroring app's settings and click the button to revoke access to my iPhone a few times over the course of a month to see if that could make it start a new connection with my iPhone from scratch, but every time I have tried it shows a message saying "Unable to Revoke iPhone Access. Revoking iPhone access failed. Please try again later." And of course, both devices are also signed in with my Apple ID.
I've seen others online also have a variety of issues lately with the app when looking up the issue, but I have yet to see anyone with this specific issue. Could I be missing something? I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the iPhone Mirroring app on my Mac, but I don't see the app available to redownload on the App Store. Thankfully I don't need this issue fixed urgently but it would be very, very convenient if I could have it working again like it used to.
