I am trading in an iPad. The instruction letter I received from Apple says to "bring my device to the drop off location," which is a FedEx.
1) Am I supposed to package the iPad?
2) Who pays for shipping to Apple?

Apple will send you a box with a prepaid label. If you did not
receive the box, go through the trade-in process again.

Thanks! I did not get a box/label, so I will re-do the process.
I got two or three emails telling me to erase all data from the iPad, and I got an email telling me to drop the iPad at Fedex, but nothing about the box/shipping. It would be an easy add to the process outline on the www site or a similarly easy add to the "take it to the drop off location" email.
