What is the right way to let Photos find duplicates?
I watched a YouTube video that said in order for the Photos app to find duplicates it both takes time and the Photos app needs to be quit. I thought that last part to be odd - I just figured it'd continue searching for duplicates in the background while you're using the app. Anyway, I clicked on the Duplicates item in the sidebar and it says:
"Scanning will continue when you're not using the app and your Mac is connected to power."
That's a vague comment. What exactly does "not using the app" mean - leaving it unattended for a period of time or actually quitting the app?
