AppleConnect is required but is not installed

I know this has been asked in the forums, but wondering if anyone has found a fix.

I have tried everything the Apple Community has suggested and nothing has worked. What I find with this is that when an update comes out for the OS, it will go away. However, it comes back again when another OS update is released.

I called Apple support, but neither the advisor nor the senior advisor could help. I called IS&T and they were unable to help because I am no longer an Apple employee.

Apple needs to step up and fix this. Signing in as a new user still doesn't get rid of it.

Also, you cannot select update or cancel.

Have any former Apple employees been able to delete this for good?
