Opting Out of Star link

I saw that Apple would be partnering with Starlink for satellite messaging coverage and I'd like to ensure that there is a way to opt out of this as a personal choice.

If you saw this, you saw either rumor or speculation. The facts are that Apple is not partnering with Starlink. Apple already has a satellite partner, and it is not Starlink.

T-Mobile is partnering with Starlink though, and if you want the service, you have to opt in. Some users who are upset about this are confused though, claiming they cannot opt out. That would be because they have not opted in.
