Apple Pencil 3rd generation is unresponsive with my iPad 10th generation

Hi my apple pen is unresponsive i tried to search for solutions and did the following:

Unpaired and repaired

cleaned the yellow stick underneath the tip

replaced the tip with a new one

rebooted my Ipad

updated the IOS then paired and repaired again

charged to 100%

connected using the usb cable

I tried another pen on my ipad it works so it’s not a sensory issue on the ipad

My ipad is 10th generation and my pencil is 3rd generation both regular

There is no Apple Pencil 3rd generation at least not called that by Apple.

The iPad 10th Generation is compatible with the Apple Pencil First Generation and the Apple Pencil USB-C. Neither of which have a yellow stick anywhere.

The Apple Pencil first generation has a white Lightning connector under the cap and you need a special adapter and a cable to pair the pencil to the iPad.

The USB-C Apple Pencil, requires a USB-C cable to connect to the iPad.

Are you sure you have an Apple Pencil?
