Carplaying music from iPhone getting 1 second audio dropouts

Bought a new Jeep (2025 Wrangler Sport S) without the upgraded sound system. I had the sound system aftermarket upgraded with new speakers, amp and subwoofer, but not the head unit. The Jeep has wireless Carplay that I'm fairly new to. I play music from iTunes on my iPhone (12 Pro Max) thru Carplay. In the first minute or two, I get a quick 1 second dropout of the audio, then it does it every 5-8 minutes after. It's driving me insane. It's like a signal drop. If I play the iPhone music thru Bluetooth (or wired USB) to the head without Carplay, it doesn't do it. It doesn't happen running my old iPod thru Bluetooth (or wired USB). I can't tell if this is an iPhone problem, a Jeep Carplay problem or some kind of interference from the new stereo amplifier? I use my iPhone to Airplay to my home stereo and all my networked speakers in my house (and work) and it doesn't do it. I know the simple answer is to just Bluetooth it, but I actually like using the Carplay the best and my OCD is badgering me to figure out what the source of the dropouts is and fix it.

Any suggestions?

Figured it out!

I was checking thru the Jeep's settings to see if I needed/could update the software. Found a sub menu to 'update software from wifi'. While I was connecting it to my home network and typing in the password, the music started doing the dropouts as it searched. I unchecked the 'update from wifi' and it hasn't done it since. It was the wifi searching to connect. Hope anybody who needs this finds this.
