cannot open application - error 10661

I am trying to open H&R Block tax software for 2024. The .exe file downloads to my Mac, but then I receive a message box that says the application cannot be opened - 10661. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Turbo Tax 2022 is in read only volume I just downloaded Turbo Tax Deluxe 2022 from Amazon. I moved .dmg to Applications. When trying to open it, I get this error that it is in the read only volume. I rebooted my Mac and it did not help. Please help!! Any suggestions? Thank you!
