Upgrade IMAC A2115 (2019) HD to SSD and M.2 NVME SSD

Upgrading IMAC A2115 (2019) HD to SSD is easy, what I don't understand is replacing the PCI to M.2 NVME SSD.

My question is, does this replacement, which is much more difficult, eliminate the need to use a SATA HD or SSD?

I saw that this way the performance gain is huge: much faster startup, applications opening instantly and greater fluidity in general use.

However, it is worth remembering that this model has the HD or Fusion Drive soldered to the board, so direct replacement can be complicated. The best alternative is to install an SSD via the NVMe port in the internal PCIe slot (if available) or use an external SSD via Thunderbolt 3, which still offers great speeds.

If you are going to open the iMac to replace the internal drive, be careful with the screen, as it is glued and requires specific tools to remove. In addition, you will need a new thermal sensor to prevent the fan from running at maximum speed all the time.

Pois trabalho site de Acompanhantes Goiania que uso imagem photoshop edições das imagens que são muitas e com pixel alto com isso são imagens que exigem muito desempenho do IMAC

What most are doing is instead of doing major surgery on their Macs which can be extremely risky is simply installing Mac OS on an external SSD using Thunderbolt 3. This solution is much easier and faster to do. As your computer ages the internal cables become more brittle so damaging one especially on a 6 year old machine is fairly easy (and potentially disastrous) to do. Below is a link for instructions on how to go about the process and the external SSD I recommend is the:

OWC is located in the US though , chances are they will ship to your country (I am assuming you are outside the US) or you can go to their website and search for a distributor that services your part of the planet.

Here is the link I promised in the first paragraph: How to setup an external SSD as your startup disk

Best of luck!
