Apple Pen Replacement Under Warranty

I recently bought a new Apple Pencil from Big W and have broken the tip off of it, from my reading it is not repairable but can be replaced by Apple under warranty.

If the pen was bought elsewhere will Apple still replace the pen under warranty?

Potentially ... Apple’s limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, and it applies regardless of where the Apple Pencil was purchased, as long as it was bought from an authorized retailer.

If the damage was due to a manufacturing defect, Apple will likely replace it under warranty. However, if the tip broke due to accidental damage or misuse, Apple typically won’t cover it. In that case, you’d need to pay for a replacement.
