Satechi hub overheating on MacBook Air M2

MacBook Air M2 with Satechi hub. Has Ethernet, wireless mouse USBA receiver and HDMI plugged into hub. Laptop is powered by the standard magnetic connector.

Hub gets very hot.

Any ideas please? Is this normal?

Overheating MacBook Pro post 14.6.1 update?! After the Sonoma 14.6.1 update, my MacBook Pro is overheating like never before. It stays super hot the entire time that I am using it. Also, the fan will start running UNBELIEVABLY loud for a while when I start using my computer. I don't know what to do. 😓 Is anyone else facing a similar problem? Please respond!

USB-C hubs can become very (very!) warm - in particular when using USB PD pass-through charging to charge the host computer.
