Cannot Save Sticky Notes (Not a Mac program) Because Save Function is Grayed Out Hi all, I downloaded a pin-up-note app called Sticky Notes from the app store that is supposedly compatible with Macbook, according to developer. The developer also indicates that a note will save as a plaintext file. When I attempt to search for the note in the text edit app, Sticky Notes does not appear. Notes app on Macbook The new notes feature that plots the equation instantly as you type is really amazing, but this works only on iPhone and iPads. Later I tried to check the version of Notes on MacBook Pro and the App Store says your device is not supported. Is it true that Notes app is not supported by MacBook Pro(M1)? If it is not compatible then why do we have a such an app available by default in MacBook Pro?

I use Apple's preinstalled Notes app without problem on my all my Macs and my iPhone.

And iCloud sync of its contents works just fine for me.
