Adding second gaming control to apple tv 4k

I can add my first 8bitdo game controller successfully and it shows as Wireless controller and works with games perfectly. When i try to add the second controller it will be identified as bluetooth device only instead of wire Controller if the first one is still on. If I switch off the first one then the second one will be identified as wireless controller.

so at a time apple tv allows only one device to be connected as wireless controller. Not able to play multiplayer games due to this.

any suggestions?

Games that support multiple wireless Bluetooth controllers, would sometimes expect that one controller is connected before starting the app, and the second one is connected from within the gaming app’s controller settings. Please try that. It helps if each one has been connected before, as Apple TV remembers Bluetooth devices for easy recognition and connecting.
