syncing cloud on Mac air not working

when I turn on sync this Mac under iCloud in settings for my MacBook Air it does not stay turned on. I suspect this is why I haven't been able to sync passwords between iPhone and MacBook air

I logged into another user on my Mac Studio and it worked without a problem, using my same apple account, so this seems user specific on my Mac Studio since the update. Any help would be appreciated. I use the Studio Mac the most for changing passwords and it should have the most up to date passwords so I'm reticent to completely reset my passwords on it, but if that's the next step, I'd appreciate the step by step so I don't lose any information.

How do I sync iMac and iPhone with my MacBook logged in with different Apple ID? I purchased a new iBook pro, while setting it up I established a new Apple ID. I later realized I should have used a previously established Apple ID. Now my Mac desktop and iPhone do not sync with the iBook. Wha is the most effective way to fix this? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

iCloud not syncing on my iMac Hello. I am using a 2017 iMac with the latest macOS. Since upgrading to iCloud+, iCloud is not properly syncing on my iMac. The syncing is OK on my iPhone and iPad. I have particular issues with Notes, Calendars, and Reminders. I have followed all the basic steps suggested by Apple Support to no avail.
