What printer is compatible with Sequoia?

Three months ago when my MacBook Air was updated to Sequoia, my HP printer could not be found by the computer, which gave me a message saying that an HP extension was no longer compatible with the OS. That problem was resolved by turning wi-fi off and back on. Now, unfortunately, my printer actually died and I need to buy a new one. Does anyone know what printer is truly compatible with the macOS so that I don't have to face the same problem? My computer, if restarted, still gives me this warning: "Existing software on your system loaded a system extension signed by HP Inc which will be incompatible with a future version of macOS." Thanks!

There are lot of choices at a lot of prices, because different folks want different features and want different prices.

And cheap printers can be expensive to run, too.

You absolutely want AirPrint support, whatever you choose.

For use with macOS and other computers, I’d also consider getting a printer IPP/IPPS support, in addition to AirPrint.

Local vendor preference is a Brother printer with AirPrint support.

Hi! I've been reading reviews for the Epson printers. It looks like the double-side feature is missing, or it's hard to get to. I print a lot on both sides of the paper. Any help with that? And I have decided to just take my chances with Sequoia 15.3.2 compatibility, as I really need a printer for my work. Thanks!

Never had a problem printing double sided.

Only problem I've had, is getting in a hurry and forgetting to check if Double-sided is on or off.

I should have explained what I need. All-in-one wireless printer/scanner/copier, not laser printer. I'm looking at HP Smart-Tank 7001 cartridge-free, which is very similar to what I have now (HP Officejet Pro). My concern is that it may not be compatible with Sequoia, or won't be in the future. Maybe someone has more info about macOS concerning this issue. Thanks!

The HP Smart-Tank 7001 says it is AirPrint compatible. You will never need vendor provided print drivers again 😁

Mobile Printing Capability

Apple AirPrint; Mopria certified; HP Print Service Plugin (Android printing); HP Smart app; Wi-Fi Direct Printing

I have zero knowledge of this HP printer, as I tend to be a laser printer user, and am currently using a Brother Multi-Function printer. I previously owned HP printers, but switched with the HP lock-in on supplies got too restrictive.
