Does “Show in all photos” (a menu item inside photo albums) mean their location in photo library?
Seems obvious but I’m taking no chances.
I have 13,000 photos in my photo library
due to an
accidental tap on “duplicate library.”

Yes. The "Show is all Photos" will take you to the photo in the All Photos view of the library
and it will be highlighted.
