You have not given us any information to evaluate and respond to. It would help to know if anything has changed, such as the OS. What is happening? Any messages, etc? Als, it's possible that the printer may need servicing.

What is that printer's exact model designation please?

The following HP printers are AirPrint-enabled:

  • HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All-In-One
  • HP OfficeJet 250C Mobile All-In-One

If it is one of them rebooting your router usually fixes it.

I don't know what a Deco is.

So have had this for a few years. Mac would never connect, but would be able to print with my iphone. I have a 16 pro now. Before is was like 13, 14 & 15. Was able to print. It is always able to print with any windows device. I tried to see if it was because that it was connected to one Deco and maybe my phone or computer was on another Deco. Didn't make a difference. Either way, now it only connects to windows and even if I email it to the email address, still won't print. So tried to do a software update and said it was not able to do it at this time.

You didn't tell how the printer is connected to your Mac. Is it directly connected? If so, check the connection and cable. I would connect with a different USB cable to verify. Also, you normally need to have an HP print driver installed which specifically says it works with your installed operating system.
