How do I make Apple Mail rules last longer than 1 day?

In Apple Mail why do Rules only seem to last 1 Day. I am so tired of Junk Mail and I can't seem to get a Rule to last more than 1 Day. I am Running iOS Sequoia 15.3.2 on my iMac; but I had the same problem on previous versions of iOS.

Hello Dick,

Please try this :

  • Leave Mail.
  • Open System Settings.
  • Click your name (top left).
  • Click iCloud.
  • Click "iCloud Drive" (This is the important part.)
  • Click "Apps synchronizing with iCloud Drive".
  • Disable Mail.
  • Click Done.

Once this is done, open Mail and create your rules. Quit and reopen Mail to verify that they are still present. If so, restart your Mac and check again for their presence.

If everything seems normal, resume steps 1 to 8 but, this time, activate Mail in step 7.
