Screen mirroring is no longer working with the latest update. I tried all troubleshooting advice Google had to offer. Is anyone else having this issue? Is it fixable?

Have you tried turning all devices off, including modem and router, restarting all devices and waiting 5 minutes before attempting to connect?
Do you use a VPN, ever had VPN or antivirus software installed on your iPhone? Is your iPhone updated to latest iOS version, 18.3.2? Is AirPlay turned on? Are both devices on the same WiFi network?
I have an LG TV and I can mirror directly to it, or via my Apple TV.
Make sure your LG TV is updated to its latest OS.
How old approximately, is your TV?
Have done basics like restarting routers and modems? When I was teaching and had similar issues, I’d leave the monitor unplugged all night and next morning plug it into wall outlet and it would work. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. 😀
The day after my iPh13pro announced it updated to iOS 18.3.2, Screen Mirroring, which formerly worked fine via a private WiFi network even though I used another network to access the Web, now instantly quits when I switch back to the main ISP WiFi.
It's not that it doesn't work, just that it's useless if mirroring instantly dis-continues after I switch to the WiFi that connects me to the rest of the planet.
Extremely disconcerting since I spent ~$300 and spent hours and hours finding a display and wireless HDMI adapter that could both mirror an iPH1 in PORTRAIT mode and not waste screen space not two weeks ago. Now the entire setup appears useless.
No vpn, iOS 18.3.2, all on same network. This just stopped working after the last update. Never had trouble before. Other non Apple phone works on screen mirror.
Yes to all troubleshooting things here. I do not use VPN. And I tried restarting the phone and TV, complete shutdowns for both and I also reset the wifi multiple times. Signal is strong.
That was the next step in troubleshooting. I’m glad you were able to resolve the issue. It’s always a best practice to disclose any previous steps you’ve taken to resolve an issue. it avoids needless repeating of prior possible solutions. 😀

Unfortunately resetting network settings did not work either. Having a feeling this has something to do with the fact that it’s a Samsung tv. It’s worked fine for over a year but perhaps the update made it not compatible if it’s not an Apple TV or not compatible with and older version of the Samsung tv? I am hoping not as I rely on this for my workouts so this really sucks.
I have iPhone 15 & my screen mirroring has stopped working with the last update. I also have done everything with no luck.

I have Samsung, shouldn’t make a difference but still not working. It worked fine for a year before the update. I checked for updates on both devices and both are up to date
About 5 years.
