Big 27 inch Mac

Trying to reinstall OS High Sierra on my old Mac . after erasing all date. When i try to reinstall mac OS i get the massge.....The recovery Server could not be contacted...

Follow the previous advise - First


Learned, a long time ago, to always have the Installation Media In-Hand before doing a complete Erasure of the drive


In this case High Sierra


Being Dependent on the Apple Recovery Servers for an operating system that was released in 2017 in 2025 would be iffy at best


Apple does usually have the Full Versionsof older operating systems but in this case you have to jump through hoops to get it


To perform this action will require booting from a Bootable Installer
