Would like to switch back to Safari, but concerned about privacy from social media giant(s)

I currently use a competing browser as my default for one reason: the organization that creates the browser has an add-on for it that protects my privacy from a certain globally popular social media giant.

I have all of the social media accounts one must have in 2025 so that one has recourse if someone mentions me. So just deleting my accounts isn't a practical option—nor does it address my concern because I'm tracked even without an account.

If I use social media apps to share, like, link, that's fine, I'm okay with companies having that information. What I need is an extension that will "contain" social media so when I am using it, it can watch what I'm doing and monetize it. But when I browse elsewhere, social media companies don't have access to what I'm doing.

Does Apple offer anything through Safari that would allow me to keep things separate like that? I've played with profiles a bit, but find it unintuitive. It's much easier just to use another browser all the time.

Thank you in advance!
