iPhone XR taking screenshots automatically and overheating

My iPhone XR is taking screenshots by itself without me even touching it and it seems to take screenshots when on screens that are supposed to be extremely private such as my password app and email app bank apps and anything of importance and I can’t figure out what to do or why is anybody else experienced this and also around the same time the screenshot started happening my cell phone device started Lagging and being extremely slow and I’ve never had issues with it before in the past being slow or freezing on apps and randomly shutting down apps by themselves with no warning also my phone is getting very hot in temperature to the point where it won’t charge if it’s plugged in, it will say will resume charging when temperature becomes normal. What is going on with my phone? I don’t know much about technology stuff. Please help! I’ve changed my password for my Apple account multiple times just in case somebody or some entity scammer or whatever has access to it. I’m very concerned.

You may have a poor battery condition which cannot provide sufficient power for peak performance. What is the Battery Health of your iPhone? Open Settings ➡️ Battery ➡️ Battery Health and let us know which percentage you see for Maximum Capacity. Also note what is written under Peak Performance. If your battery's Maximum Capacity shows a value of 80% or less, then it has gone through its lifecycle and therefore should be replaced, according to Apple.

You may also have a failing display, however that can be determined with a physical iPhone exam at the Apple Store or at an Authorized Service Center.

  1. The battery health is close to 80%. I would definitely mark this battery as suspect. You can get this confirmed at the Apple Store or at an Authorized Service Center.
  2. You may have a failing touch screen display. This condition can lead to ghost touches and therefore false executions on an app or a function.

In my opinion, the battery is reaching or has reached end of its life service while the display is failing as well.

Reply to your comment thank you for your information. That makes sense about the temperature of my phone because my phone is in fact, nine years old. It’s been a great phone and it’s only been recently since it started acting up however, I wish I had some answers about the screenshots being taken place by itself. That’s the biggest concern.. the temperature issue that you explained makes sense thank you. Do you have any answers about why screenshots will occur and coincidentally on apps that are sensitive such as Passwords photos banks of that nature I haven’t noticed any unusual activity on my banks or anything, but this is just extremely concerning because it all started happening all at once the way my phone started lagging and the screenshots and temperature if you or anybody has the ability to explain to me how to check for malware or detect any type of scammer on my phone. I don’t know where to start and it’s frustrating and I don’t want to accidentally do something that’s gonna make my device even more of a nuisance. Thanks in advance.
