On iOS, the sound volume for Alarms & Timer (from the Clock app) and Siri is unified under the system volume. This means there are no independent volume sliders specifically for these functions.

The system volume is adjusted through:

  • Settings > Sound & Haptics > Haptics and Sound Volume (on newer iPhones like the iPhone 15 and 16 series running iOS 17 or later).

Key points to understand:

  • Alarms always play at the system volume level, even when your iPhone is muted or in Do Not Disturb mode.
  • Siri's voice volume is also primarily controlled by the system volume. However, you might be able to adjust Siri's volume independently using the volume buttons while Siri is actively speaking.

Therefore, to ensure your alarms are audible and Siri's voice is at your desired level, you must adjust the Haptics and Sound Volume slider in the Sound & Haptics settings, as this single control governs the output for both.
