Why can't I AirDrop from my iPhone to my MacBook Air?

Guys, maybe someone can help me. I’m having a weird problem with airdrop. I will give as much detail as I can I got an M3 MacBook Air running Sequoia 15.3.2 and an iPhone 13 running 18.3.2. Obviously both signed into the same appleid. For some reason I can airdrop from the computer to the phone with no issues, but I can’t airdrop from the phone to the computer. No one can for that matter. I even changed the settings on both devices to allow everyone. Airdrop on the phone or any other apple device will see the Mac just fine, but everytime me or anyone else for that matter tries to airdrop to the Mac, it always fails. The Mac never even shows an alert that someone is attempting to airdrop. Bluetooth is on. Phone and Mac are on the same WiFi. But it always fails. Even if my wife tries to airdrop something the alert will come through on the phone and my iPad, but not the Mac. I never had this issue with the MacBook that I just got rid of. Can anyone help?
