How do I restore the 'Retouch' feature after updating to Sequoia?

I just learned after updating to Sequoia that the retouch feature is gone! WHY???? The clean up feature does NOT do what retouch did. Bring it back! It's crucial for my work! So upsetting.

This is a user to user forum, you are not addressing Apple here.

As users we cannot say why Apple makes the decisions it makes.

You cannot restore the feature except by removing Sequoia 15.3 and returning to a version of macOS that still has the feature.

You can offer feedback to them directly and if enough people do, they may decide to make the option available again.

As it stands, it is reasonable to assume the new Clean Up feature in Apple's opinion takes over the Retouch duties. Whether you find it as useful or not.
