MacBook Pro M4pro will not charge past 80%

My 14" MacBook Pro M4pro purchased in February 2025 will not charge more than 80%. I have not used it much and my charger is always near. Should I leave home, I want a full charge.

Should I keep my Macbook Pro M4 Series, Charging all the time even if it shows 100% I saw other articles/ discussions about this, all say, you can, because of modern circuitry and all, but I had never saw an official apple website stating that, Could anyone please help me gain trust on this. MacBook Pro 16 won't charge above 80% I have a MacBook Pro 16; that is 5 months old. It will not charge above 80%. I have done shutdowns and restarts, and I ran the diagnostics which said there is nothing wrong. Any ideas. I was running OS 14.4 and when I called Applecare they suggested upgrading to 15.3.2 but there is no change. It still only charges t 80% [Edited by Moderator]
