Can’t Disable AirPods 2 Case Sounds – Option Grayed Out

I recently purchased AirPods (2nd generation) and noticed that the case makes sounds when opening and closing. I understand that there should be an option to disable this in the settings, but the “Case Sounds” toggle is grayed out and cannot be turned off.

My AirPods are running firmware 7B21, and my iPhone is updated to the latest iOS version. I have tried resetting the AirPods, forgetting and reconnecting them, and leaving them connected overnight to check for updates, but the issue persists.

Is this a known issue, or is there a way to disable the case sounds? I would appreciate any guidance.

Thank you for your response. I have checked my Screen Time settings, and I do not have any restrictions enabled. The “Case Sounds” toggle remains grayed out despite this.

I have also tried restarting my iPhone, resetting my AirPods, and making sure they are updated to firmware 7B21, but the issue persists. Is there anything else I could try?
