Twelve South Airfly Pro Deluxe Bluetooth Transmitter Compatibility With Air Pods Max (USB-C)

I'm trying to find out if the upgraded Air Pods Max with the USB-C charger port has the same compatibility with the Twelve South Airfly Pro Deluxe Bluetooth Transmitter, as it does with the previous Air Pods Max that had the lightning cable charger port. The compatibility section of the Twelve South Airfly Pro Deluxe Bluetooth Transmitter says it is compatible with the Air Pods Max but it specifies lightning cable, and doesn't say anything about the USB-C Version. I have bought the two Items, but they haven't arrived yet, so I haven't been able to test them.
